Nokia is about to announce its first Android powered flagship in the form of the Nokia 8 which has 'accidentally' appeared on the company's official website ahead of launch.
Incidentally, the accidental leak of the Nokia 8 came on the same day when HMD Global, the company making Nokia smartphones now, announced that its CEO Arto Nummela was leaving the firm.
Nokia 8 has been the subject of various of various leaks and rumours in the past. Earlier the Nokia 9 was looking set to be the iconic brands flagship smartphone for 2017 but it now seems that the Nokia 8 has taken its place instead. While earlier rumours were painting the Nokia 8 as a upper mid-range smartphone, it now looks set to be a proper flagship device with top of the line specification .
Nokia's Chinese website 'accidentally' put up an image of the Nokia 8 showcasing the device in all of its glory. The image, which look akin to renders leaked by Evan Blass yesterday showcases the metal build, physical keys and the Lumia like design ethos. The smartphone is set to be launched in 4 color variants - blue, steel, gold/blue and gold/copper.
